One of Vaughan’s busiest intersections, Weston Rd & Highway 7, has seen a lot of changes over the past few years. This large plot of land on the North East corner has transformed from the Al Paladini’s Car Dealership, to the Custom Car Rim Store, and now to a deserted commercial building with a beautiful zoning amendment sign which can be seen below.
The old car dealership will soon be the headquarters of the 7777 Weston Rd Condos presentation centre. The project will contain 3 Towers that will be 33 Floors, 30 Floors, and 10 Floors in height and will be a mix of residential units in the Towers and commercial units on the main floor. This massive 750+ unit project is sure to create even more traffic at this busy intersection!
The project was supposed to launch last year but clearly there were some delays. My sources tell me that a September launch is imminent but it is possible that it could be delayed even more.
As for the pricing, expect to see similar pricing as that of Expo Phase 2. Also, since this is Vaughan, don’t count on small units. The price per square foot will naturally be a lot less then Downtown Toronto but because the suites are larger, the purchase price will be similar to that of downtown but with a lot more space!
